Hello! I am guessing that I should tell you all a bit more about me. Well, my name is Candy. Yep, it's me, Candy from EyeCandy Chainmaille. Some of you may know me, but I am guessing that most of you don't.
I make chainmaille based jewelry. I say chainmaille based since I work hard to kind of go beyond that. I set stones in my chainmaille, do some structural pieces, occasionally write a tutorial and I also sell supplies so folks who want to make a Cross or earring but do not want to buy all kinds of tools and wire and rings can do that.
I have been making jewelry for about 5 years now and designing for much longer. I seem to end up designing no matter what I do crafting.
I also knit, garden, cook and take care of my son, who is 19 and my mom who is 70. I guess you can say I have two kids... :-)
Stop in and say hi sometime.
These Crosses are an amazing symbol of your faith as well as a spectacular piece of wearable art. They were inspired by curiosity, the curiosity to find out if I could make a Cross using the Byzantine chainmaille weave. You will receive instructions to make the Silver, Copper and Aluminum versions in this tutorial.
My customers tell me often, if not always, how much they enjoy their Crosses and how many compliments they receive when they wear them. They are novel and unique in their design and with just a little bit of imagination you can make them very much your own with an added bead in the center.
I hope you will enjoy working with this tutorial and I am available through the contact info (or through email after your purchase) if you have any questions.
