Pattern Description:

Learn to make this 3D vase, which is constructed using a combination of multiple structure wires, weaving and beads. This versatile technique can be easily adapted to make any round or circular, hollow, 3D form.

The vase can simply be hung on a chain (threaded through the handles) for an elegant pendant, or you could attach a chain tassel through the point at the bottom to add movement. Alternatively you could attach beads, drops, briolettes and charms to give a gypsy twist to your necklace. Just unleash your imagination.

This is a very advanced tutorial, with 56 detailed steps over 28 pages with lots of clear colour photos, making it an easy to follow step by step guide.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • This vase measures 1 1/4" from top to bottom and 1 1/4" loop to loop.


  • 5 1/2" 18 gauge half hard round wire
  • 20 1/2" 20 gauge half hard round wire
  • 233" 28 gauge soft or half hard round wire
  • 12 3mm round beads
  • 12 4mm round beads
