Pattern Description:

Sometimes gemstone beads can be a little too plain and uniform in colour particularly if they are very large. However, encasing them in a bead cage instantly makes them much more interesting and adds unity to a piece of jewellery. A bead cage is also useful for protecting delicate beads and evening out the size of nugget beads.

This tutorial will show you a quick and easy method of encasing any shape or size of bead in a wire cage.
