Pattern Description:

I love making snowflakes for the holidays. You can gift them to anyone--it's not just for Christians. They're pretty to hang in the window on those little suction cup things or on the tree. It's really up to you. Most patterns I've found are incredibly time consuming. I like to be able to crank out the snowflakes rapidly so that I can use them for teacher gifts. Thsi pattern can be done in an hour (or less--depends on your skill level). I think this is a FINE pattern for a beginner (and when I say beginner I mean NEVER touched a bead before) and also good for experienced! It's really fun to whip these up and everyone loves them. :)

You can make this pattern with the 8/0 delicas I mention or with smaller 11/0 beads. The smaller bead will create a smaller version (obviously) but it still works.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

Using 8/0 Delicas and 6mm Crystals, 2 5/8 inches in diameter
Using 11/0 Delicas and 4mm Crystals, 2 inches in diameter
Using 11/0 Round and 4mm Crystals, 1 7/8 inches in diameter

Materials:

Fireline thread & 1 medium needle
Clear 6mm Crystals or 6mm Czech Fire Polished Crystals
White 8/0 delica seed beads 2 Grams (Any color fine)
Mop and Glow or Future Liquid Floor Wax
