  • You should be familiar with basic bead weaving, how to add thread to your work and how to tie half hitch knots.
  • Knowledge of Right Angle Weave and Herringbone will be helpful but not necessary.

Pattern Description:

Beautiful Victorian-style pendant necklace is created using circular right angle weave and is great for advanced beginner beaders and above. You will receive instructions for the pendant, pearl rope and the earrings. If you are interested in the pearl rope only, please see my blog link above for the free pattern. This tutorial includes detailed color photos and written instructions to guide you every step of the way . If you have any questions about this, please contact me and I will be happy to walk you through anything you need help with.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Necklace is 18 inches long
  • Pendant is 2 inches in diameter
  • Earrings are 2 inches long and about 1 inch wide

Materials:

  • 66 of 4MM bi cone crystal or glass beads, Teal w/AB Finish
  • 134 of 3MM pearl glass beads or similar, White
  • 6-7 grams size 11/0 Miyuki Round, Matte Silver-Lined (S/L) Capri Blue #25F
  • 3 grams size 11/0 Miyuki Round, S/L Opal #551
  • 6-7 grams size 15/0 seed beads, Transparent Blue
  • 3 grams size 15/0 Miyuki Round, S/L Crystal #1
  • 12 MM glass pearl or similar
  • 2 of 4MM glass pearl or similar
  • Size 12 Beading Needle, Clear FireLine 4 pound test, Scissors, Beading Mat.
  • For Pearl Rope you will need Approximately 400 4MM glass or similar pearl beads. I used acrylic for mine. You can opt to do a tubular herringbone rope with seed beads. I have directions for both. 10 grams size 11/0 Miyuki Round, S/L Crystal #1 if you are doing the rope with pearls OR 40 grams if you are using seed beads only and not pearls for the rope (high estimate), 1 gram size 15/0 Miyuki Round, S/L Crystal #1, Clasp
