In this tutorial you will learn how to weave a lovely necklace of hearts, using a variation of what is known in the world of bead weaving as "netting".

If you've never netted before, you're in for a treat! A finished piece of netted beadwork feels wonderful in your hands and lies oh-so-perfectly on the neck. It's lightweight too, so it's also very comfortable.
This tutorial includes numbered steps with written instructions along with clear, close up photos for each step that make it easy to learn. Steps (along with photos) on weaving in, knotting, and adding a clasp are included in a natural progression throughout the tutorial.

Materials:

16g size 11 Toho seed beads - "heart" color
16g size 11 Toho seed beads - "background" color
2 Wire Guards (wire guardians)
1 Lobster clasp (swivel clasps work great)

Fireline beading thread 6lb test or your choice of beading thread 4-6lb test
Big eye beading needle or your choice of beading needle
Scissors
