Focus on creating small spiral links with centers of crystals and spacers...

Using a three strand clasp, this necklace offers different length chains on which spiral links move freely. A great design feature of this project is how the links can be arranged in an almost limitless number of ways. Each strand has a different number of spirals and this adds to the intricate look. This endings have a very professional look, using bead tips and crimps. Learn to measure and create the desired lengths of chain and how to create a simple spiral


  • 5 ft Small Chain
  • 20 gauge wire
  • 4mm crystals or other beads
  • 4-6mm spacers
  • 3 strand clasp
  • 6 each 4mm jump rings

  • Bead mat
  • safety glasses
  • ruler or tape measure
  • flat or chain nose pliers
  • round nose pliers
  • flush cutters
  • nylon jawed pliers (opt)
