Crossweave Crystal Necklace

from Belle Jewelry Designs
(5) Name: 'Jewelry : Crossweave Crystal Necklace
Crossweave Crystal Necklace
Crossweave Crystal Necklace

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Crossweave concepts helpful, not required

Pattern Description:

This necklace is my own design. I have taught this necklace at several libraries around Suffolk County on Long Island. If you're new to stitching this would be a nice place to start--it's not simple but it's not that difficult either. You will be challenged and when you finish you'll be proud to walk around with what you've created.

The finished product comes out lovely and most people can complete the necklace in a few hours. Most of my students complete it in 3 hours (and with little/no prior stitching experience). But even if you're experienced, this necklace is fun because it whips up quickly and wears lovely.

**Special Notice** When you buy this pattern, you are now entitled to make this necklace (and sell it if you like--but I bet you will want to keep for yourself!) But please--do not distribute, lend, teach, copy, or sell my pattern on your own. It would give you bad mojo like trouble sleeping, headaches, you name it--just not worth it. Mass production (like a factory) is not permitted. If you sell the bracelet would you please give credit to the designer--ME! :) Linking to my shop would kinda rock too.

Want the entire bead kit? I sell that too. It's here: http://www.etsy.com/listing/93065638/bead-kit-and-tutorial-crossweave-crystal

A little about me and my patterns--I've been a technical writer for about 18 years. My undergraduate degree is in technical communications and my masters degree is in writing.

The instructions I've written here are comprehensive from threading the needle to finishing your piece. I provide a graphic with every step.

I teach these patterns in libraries across Long Island. I teach using the patterns and know the spots people have trouble and refine the patterns with each class. In short, my work has been reviewed many times allowing me to make sure that they are complete and thoroughly tested.

You can be sure that you will be able to follow my patterns and create your jewelry.
