Pattern Description:
These wonderful hoop earrings evolved from my Swarovski Crystal Bracelet and Back to the Beginning Bracelet designs. aka "Honey I Shrunk the Bracelets"
They can be made as big or as tiny as you like.I've "shrunk" them down small enough for a nose ring and of course they started as a bracelet :)).

Materials:
- Materials suggested makes 1 pair of hoops approximately 1 inch in diameter
- 12 inches (30.5cm) 22ga square wire
- 9 inches (22.9cm) 20ga round wire
- 18 inches (45.7cm) 20 or 22ga half round wire
- **all wire should be half hard**
- 18 to 22 crystal cube, round, or bicone shaped beads, or 4mm plain round beads in colors of your choice.
- Ruler
- Permanent Marker (sharpie)
- Flush wire cutters
- Narrow flat nose pliers
- Chain nose pliers
- Round nose pliers
- 1/2 to 3/4 inch round wooden dowel
- Wire rounder or file

I thoroughly enjoyed making these earrings. The instructions are step-by-step and very clear. The photos are great too. I'm glad I paid to download them. They are worth every penny!

My name is Bobbi, and I am a full blown wire junkie. There I said it :), though I have no intention of looking for a 12-step program to "cure" my addiction. lol It is an almost all consuming obsession. I keep a sketch book with me all the time, and drive friends nuts - Very often I'll be in the middle of a sentence, when an idea pops in my head, and I immediately scramble for my book to jot it ...

I keep a sketch book with me all the time, and drive friends nuts - Very often I'll be in the middle of a sentence, when an idea pops in my head, and I immediately scramble for my book to jot it down, or start picking up materials to work it out before the idea falls out of my head. I have even pulled out of traffic, cutting off a police officer in the process to write down my thoughts. I was so intent on my thoughts, I didn't realize I was holding up a "wait a minute finger" to that same police officer. When I finally looked up, explained what I was doing, and showed him my book, he could only shake his head, and warn me drive more carefully.
I have been creating wire wrapped jewelry for almost 25 years, and have been teaching wire wrapping professionally for more than 10 years. New designs I test on myself (and willing guinea pigs, err umm friends) for wearablity and durability. On average, I make tutorial designs roughly 15 to 30 times (honestly - not an exaggeration!) before I write a tutorial to make sure it is easily repeatable, and not just a happy fluke. Bet I could give Zales a run for it's money on ring stock alone :))
Sometimes I miss the normal perks that come with a 'regular job' - you know - vacations, sick days, dental - but only sometimes. When I start to miss them, I just remind myself of the really great perks I do have - like making my own hours, playing with pretty shiny things all day, and working in my jammies if I want too :D
