Basic Skills Necessary:

  • tat rings and chains
  • make a lock join in tatting
  • node stitch (also called Victorian sets)
  • bead picots
  • using 2 shuttles

Pattern Description:

Clear instructions and step by step photos in this modern tatting pattern, inspired by nature. These lovely leaves are so dainty and lightweight.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Length of tatted leaf is about 1 and 3/4 inches in size 20 thread


  • Size 20 crochet cotton (6 cord thread such as Lizbeth is recommended): about 6 yards
  • 2 tatting shuttles
  • Small steel crochet hook about size 14/.6mm (helpful for joins)
  • 22 seed beads size 11/0
  • earring findings of choice
  • 2 split ring findings size 4mm to 5mm
  • 2 jump rings size 4mm
