"...I found that snowflakes were miracles of beauty; and it seemed a shame that this beauty should not be seen and appreciated by others." ~ Wilson A. Bentley
A pdf tutorial for making dainty yet elegant Lacy Snowflakes in TWO versions! One features slightly ruffly picots in the center, while the second features simple netting that is tidier and lies flatter.
The finished flakes are lightweight and the perfect size (about 1 1/4" diameter) and capture the sparkle and elegance of this wintery holiday season. Features a single sparkly bicone crystal in the center for the perfect touch of glitz. This snowflake pattern stitches up so quickly that you could whip up a whole flurry of them in no time! They make cute earrings that are easy to personalize by changing the center crystal color, or special gift tag ornaments, or elements for scrapbooking, or string a drift of them together into a festive, wintery garland!
Finished size: approximately 1-1/4"
