  • Crocheting with wire
  • Making an eye loop (I use a double-wrapped.)
  • Attaching an ear wire
  • Braiding

Pattern Description:

This is the third in a series of earring patterns to be published. It is a variation on the second pattern, but is different enough to require its own set of instructions. You will need to know the listed skills to make these earrings. If you feel unsure about your ability, I suggest you purchase Crocheted Wire and Bead Earrings: One. The directions are very detailed and will assist you as you need for this project. I refer to the first pattern's step numbers throughout this pattern.

At the end of this pattern, I give ideas for variations and site my sources for materials.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • These earrings are 2-1/2" long and nearly 1/2" wide


  • 2-1/2 yds. 26 gauge silverplated wire ( I used ParaWire). More will be needed if you want to practice.
  • 6- 4mm white Swarovski pearls
  • 4- 6mm white Swarovski pearls
  • 2- 8mm white Swarovski pearls
  • 2 French ear wires (I used silverplated.)
  • 2 rubber ear wire stops
  • 2 head pins (I used silverplated.)
  • Size " J" metal crochet hook ("I" hook will work.)
  • Chain nose or flat nose pliers
  • Round nose pliers
  • Flush wire cutters
  • Bead stopper
  • Masking or scotch tape
