Pattern Description:

You are about to learn how to create a beautiful and elegant pair of earrings using teardrop crystals, some metallic beads and silver plated wire.

I would not say this pair of earrings implies too many skills, but it does ask for some time and patience. If you're good at wrapping, waving and most of all, keeping wires symmetrical, do not worry; add some patience and that is all you need.

Although I ranked them for an intermediate level, a beginner level could do just fine in finishing this project, because of the very clear pictures and notes along the steps.

This tutorial is based on 70 pictures spread along 19 main steps and 18 pages, as well.

Materials:

MATERIAL LIST: 60 cm of 0.6 mm silver plated wire; 4.60 m of 0.315 mm silver plated wire; 16 metallic beads; 14 teardrop crystals (6/12 mm)
TOOL LIST: round nose pliers; flat nose pliers; wire scissors; wire cutter; one knitting needle:2-3 mm (to create bails)
ALTERNATIVE MATERIALS: Crystals can be replaced with any other color at hand; one can use round beads, but the look of the earrings will have a major change. About wire, I would not use copper wire, as this pair of earrings should be "shiny"; but you can use sterling silver instead. And about metallic beads, if you really want to replace them, make sure their effect completes the design
