Beaded Earrings, Right Angle Weave Pattern

Category:

Jewelry

Type:

Earrings

Skill Level:

small skill level requirement Beginner

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Thread a needle
  • Right angle weave (good to know, but you'll learn it here)

Pattern Description:

I saw some cool earrings on a friend of mine who ALWAYS wears cool earrings. Her earrings were done in wire and beads and I thought, "I bet I can do that with beads." I have recently started working with 8/0 beads. I love how fast they whip up and they come in some great colors too. This is a great project when you have just a small handful of Fire Polished Crystals and beads left. They whip up super quickly too! You can make this pair in about an hour (total time).

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Earrings hang about 1 1/2" from the earwire. 2 inches total depending on the earwire you use.

Materials:

  • Fireline thread (.15mm/10lb test) & 1 beading needle
  • 12 4mm Czech Fire Polished Crystals
  • Size 8round TOHO seed beads, 4 grams
  • Earwires (2)
