Pattern Description:

Learn to create basic macram knots using various gauges of wire...

This class will focus on an alternating half hitch knot. You will create 3 bracelets each with a unique variation. The first will be a simple straight forward pattern with a bead in between each knot, the second will incorporate more beads, some even in the knots themselves. The last bracelet uses multiple strands of wire and for a chunkier look.

  • 24" - 20 gauge wire
  • 8 beads various sizes
  • Bracelet #2
  • 24" - 20 gauge wire
  • 12 - 24 beads various sizes
  • Bracelet #3
  • 48" - 22 gauge wire
  • 8 beads various sizes

You Will Also Need:

  • Safety glasses
  • Flush cutters
  • Round nose pliers
  • Flat nose pliers or chain nose
  • Nylon jawed pliers (optional)
  • Ruler or tape measure
  • 1/2" - 3/4" dowel or mandrel
