You should know how to make a viking knit chain. It is also helpful (but not necessary) if you know peyoye and right angle weave beading stitches.

Pattern Description:

I really enjoy making viking knit jewelry, and have made many a chain, LOL. But I wanted to take viking knit to the next level -- to embellish the chains so they catch the eye!

I've used several techniques in this ebook tutorial. You get to include beads in your viking knit, as well as put beads on top.

You'll see how to join two short pieces of chain to make a longer one, and top it off with a beaded bead.
