Pattern Description:

This beaded cuff features an image of the Uffington White Horse over a field of mixed greens.The Uffington White Horse is a chalk hill figure that dates back to the Bronze Age, and is one of the oldest examples of carved hill figures still in existence.

I recommend this pattern for beginners and advanced beginners looking for a simple but attractive pattern to hone their peyote stitch skills on. I have fully tested the pattern and made it several times over before offering it for sale. It is versatile and can be finished for wear in a number of ways, beaded in a wide variety of colors and can be enlarged to fit a wide variety of wrist sizes.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • beaded panel - 5.5'x2', with directions on finishing to maker's choice of length


  • 20 grams size 11 seed beads in mixed greens
  • 2 grams size 11 seed beads in white or cream
  • nylon beading thread in green or white
  • clasp in your choice of style/leather for straps

You Will Also Need:

  • scissors
  • beading needles suitable for beadweaving
  • thread conditioner such as Thread Heaven or beeswax
