Have you seen the popular Shamballa bracelets for sale out there, also known as the Hip Hop or Disco Ball bracelet? Some can be very expensive, but now you can easily make your own! And you can make them in any style your heart desires. There are many tutorials out there, but I had to learn the hard way, by trial and error, how to finish them to look professional. Now you can learn my easy technique. These bracelets are quick. I can make one in a little over a half hour and I get lots of complements on them. At a recent craft fair, a young man spotted one of my "Disco Ball" bracelets and he couldn't believe my price. He told me he had recently seen a similar bracelet for sale on the streets of Miami for triple the price of mine. The sky's the limit on these cuties!
I love playing with fire! I make glass beads on my propane/oxygen torch and incorporate the beads into unique jewelry. When I was in junior high, my father taught me how to use a torch to make sterling silver jewelry with turquoise stones, which I then sold to my friends at school. Through out my life I've dabbled in many forms of arts and crafts. I can't help it . . . it's in my blood!
