Pattern Description:

This beaded cuff features an artistic interpretation of the two-beat footfall pattern of a trotting horse. One variation of the barefoot version is pictured, but the pattern includes four variations - two barefoot and two shod!

I recommend this pattern for beginners and advanced beginners looking for a simple but attractive pattern to hone their peyote stitch skills on. It is also excellent for using up the leftover beads from multiple projects, as it looks great when beaded in blended colors!
I have fully tested the pattern and made it several times over before offering it for sale. It is versatile and can be finished for wear in a number of ways, beaded in a wide variety of colors and can be enlarged to fit a wide variety of wrist sizes.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

7' x 1.5', with directions on finishing to maker's choice of length

Materials:

Color 1 - Background color! I recommend white or a mix of whites and creams - 11 grams
Color 2 - First hoofbeat color! I strongly recommend using a mix of the same color beads in different finishes or shades - this is a great chance to use up the scrap beads from other projects! - 8 grams
Color 3 - Second hoofbeat color! Pick a complementary or contrasting color to color 2. I strongly recommend using a mix of the same color beads in different finishes or shades - this is a great chance to use up the scrap beads from other projects! - 8 grams
Color 4 - Hoofprint color! I recommend metallic bronze or a mix of metallic browns - 1 gram
