I love chain maille (chain mail) and the Celtic weaves are quite fascinating. They combine techniques from the European and Japanese styles, along with orbital and captive rings.

These weaves make for quite an adventure!

The weave patterns include Celtic Visions, Celtic Kisses, Half Helm and Helm.. You'll learn now only how to make the chains, but also how to incorporate the chains into jewelry.

If you are fascinated my chain maille and would like to learn, this is a great start for you. It's a tiny bit more involved than a single-ring weave like Box, but it's still easy enough to pick up pretty quickly.
