I love sculpturing peyote using various sized beads. I designed this bracelet in the early summer when butterflies were plentiful. It just reminds me of summer.
The green sample is made with a background of delica beads and size 11 and size 8 czech seed beads. the blue sample is made with a background of size 15 with the butterflies made with size 11 and size 8 seed beads.
I don't recommend this project for beginners, as keeping the thread taut enough to sculpture it takes some practice. Otherwise it is simply peyote stitch.

I can't say I have a favorite stitch or type of bead, but lately I've been experimenting with the new Twin beads and Super Duos.
Next on my to-do list is design some items with Cubic Right Angle Weave with the Twins. It works in my head, now to put thread and beads to it.
