Basic Skills Necessary:

  • cross-stitch

Pattern Description:

I like a good swear word as much as the next person and there are certainly no shortage of cross-stitch patterns peppered with obscenities out there, if that's your thing... there's just one problem... we don't all have the sort of life that allows for big, bad swear words in either our vocabulary or our home decor.... enter the solution to the problem - wee little swears! All the effectiveness of the nastier words, without the nasty part. I say this one A LOT. Perfect for adorning pieces of home decor like pillows or placemats, or of course for the more traditional wall hanging. We think wee little swears will satisfy your need for an invective without offending grandma or the kids.

Want to double or even triple your swear power? Look for our patterns for "heck", "frick", "gosh", and "shoot" too.

This cross-stitch pattern comes with a full colour chart with floss legends in DMC, JP Coats, and Anchor, although of course all colours can be replaced as per the stitcher's preference.

This pattern is simple and suitable for beginners. We've included our best stitching tips for both beginners and more experienced stitchers and if you're completely new to the craft there's a good how-to video courtesy of Yarn Tree at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mr_LfGr1v0E
