Basic Skills Necessary:

  • basic embroidery stitched such as French knots, bullion stitch, chain stitch ad lazy daisy stitch.

Pattern Description:

A stash busting project. Let your embroidery skills lose on this crazy pattern. Small enough to use the most luxurious materials.

This is intended as a guide for you to create your own piece of work rather than a rigid pattern to follow so if you are missing a few of the skills needed to complete the embroidery or beading work do please still take a look and adapt the design to fit within your own comfort zone.

I created this as a revision exercise before I started my City and Guilds Embroidery course it was fun to do and I was an expert in French knots by the end!

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 8" x 3"


  • Scraps of light to medium fabric. Embroidery floss, beads, bead needle, scraps of braid lace and ricrac.
  • small piece of wadding.

You Will Also Need:

  • embroidery and beading needles, sewing machine (optional project can be hand sewn. embroidery hoop.
