Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Basic embroidery skills.

Pattern Description:

Swedish weaving is an easy to learn, teach yourself craft popular in the 1930s. You simply weave the perle cotton through the top threads (floats) of the toweling to create a design. This pattern includes 3 border designs with color graphs and written instructions. Suitable for huck toweling, Monks cloth, and Aida cloth.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 15 x 24 inches.


  • 1-1/2 yards huck toweling (will make 2 towels), size 8 perle cotton, tapestry needle.
