I've been crafting for most of my life (4+ decades), spending at least half of that time quilting. I learned to crochet decades ago, and have done a lot of needlework such as embroidery and cross stitch. Just last year I taught myself to knit, and recently, I started designing my own patterns in crochet, knitting and needlework.
