Welcome to my shop! I began sewing as a young girl in 4-H and my mother and grandmothers all liked to sew. I have a lovely collection of quilts from one of my grandmothers and crocheted afghans from my other grandmother. I love to draw and do needlework so when my children were little and I was staying home with them I decided to design my own patterns and greeting cards. I have a web site that shows all of my patterns and links to other items I make with my illustrations. www.countrygardenstitchery.comView all patterns by designer (127) »
A hand embroidery pattern set featuring sweet sheep and pig barnyard buddies saying hello from behind the barn fence among the bright red wildflowers with little birds visiting too.
The hand embroidery patterns measure 8" x 3" and are easily transferred to fabric using any of the methods available in craft and sewing stores, a light box or a window. The patterns use very simple embroidery stitches including stem stitch, back stitch, lazy daisies and french knots. Fun and quick patterns that can be embroidered on kitchen towels or finished with sewing or framing. As seen in the sample photo I made mine into kitchen towels using Dunroven house towels available online or in quilting shops. They would make a nice housewarming gift!
This includes a photo page with several photos, two embroidery patterns, embroidery instructions and supply suggestions.
