Growing up, I was obsessed with saving the environment. I read books about all the little things you could do to help with the "Three R's," and then I bugged my parents relentlessly about all the changes we had to make. I showed up on neighbors' porches, asking them for things that needed to be recycled. My parents had the Earth Day Special from 1990 on VHS, and I watched it over and over and over again, until its mysterious disappearance!
Earth Day doesn't have to be the only day we celebrate our planet. I know that I try to do all that I can to reduce my footprint and help preserve the world for future generations. This cute cross stitch pattern is my geeky nod to our beautiful planet Earth.
The pattern file includes:
* An example of the completed pattern
* Suggested floss list (DMC colors)
* A full-color pattern chart with symbols
* Basic cross stitch instructions

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area with my husband, a sweet baby boy, three cats, and a 75-pound Doberman that thinks she is a lap dog. I spend my days with my little boy, but in my previous work life, I taught 8th grade English and history. When I find time (usually when the baby is asleep), I enjoy reading, writing, cooking, baking, and crafting.View all patterns by designer (70) »
