Meet The Rainbow Girls! I first designed some of these girls for a metals class I was taking at Penland School of Crafts (they became copper pendants). I love them and I've continued to doodle them after that class - and now I offer them to you. Each girl is about 3 inches tall and 1 1/2 inches wide. They're perfect for adding to an MP3 cozy or making a pin (both seen in the sidebar stitched up in felt). You can even use the embroidery patterns as patterns for paper crafting (seen in the cards made of paper in the sidebar).
You'll get a full-sized pattern - regular and reversed for use with iron-on transfer tools. You'll also get a complete color and stitch guide, telling you exactly what colors and stitches I used on the example you see in the first photo.
You've never done any embroidery before? No problem! All of these girls are done with just three stitches. Easy ones! And the pattern has links to videos teaching you how to do all of them. :-)
Expect to spend an hour or two stitching each girl.

I'm on a mission to teach people to sew, quilt, and embroider. I design patterns especially for beginners and I never release a pattern until I have videos teaching you every skill you'll need to complete the project. Have fun!
