Hand Embroidery

Skill Level:

little skill level requirement Novice

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • It'd be great if you can already thread a needle but otherwise no knowledge required - cross stitch instructions are included!

Pattern Description:

This pattern is from an original piece of graffiti art made by me!

This is a downloadable cross stitch pattern, not a finished piece or a kit. The pattern is a black and white symbol chart, as shown in the photo, however you will receive a higher resolution image. A key for both DMC and Anchor threads and instructions for beginner cross stitchers are included.

Difficulty Level: 1 (seriously simple) It contains only full cross stitches - no partial stitches, back stitch or french knots.
Size: 101 x 68 stitches
18 x 12 cm (7 x 5 inches) on 14ct Aida

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 101 x 68 stitches
  • 18 x 12 cm (7 x 5 inches) on 14ct Aida

  • Fabic for cross stitch (eg. Aida, about 2" larger all round than the pattern is)
  • DMC or Anchor stranded cotton (see pattern for colours)

You Will Also Need:

  • Needles (I prefer size 24 tapestry ones myself - blunt is better for cross stitch)
  • Scizzors
  • A bit of patience (this is embroidery after all, not Formula One)
