For many of us, home is where the heart is, and this lovely cross stitch pattern celebrates that fact.

The finished piece can be framed or made into a pillow or cushion.

This design is the perfect complement to my "True Friends Are Precious and Rare" cross stitch design.

Essentially Knitting on craftsy.com

My mum taught me to knit when I was just four years old and I have been addicted ever since.

I now work (if you can call it work!) as a pattern writer and technical editor, both for companies here in Australia and for my own business.

I love the creative process and using a simple ball of yarn and a pair of needles to make something gorgeous yet practical.
