A hand embroidery pattern featuring a teapot of green tea, a teacup and a bouquet of lavender flowers for tea with a friend.
It is an easy and fun pattern to embroider using back stitch, stem stitch, French knots and lazy daisies. You can trace just part of the design for a project such as the green tea leaves on a linen tea towel. You can change the colorway to match your home or a project you have in mind and it would look great in redwork too! The colors used in the model are noted in the pattern. Lots of fun options!

I began sewing as a young girl in 4-H and my mother and grandmothers all liked to sew. I have a lovely collection of quilts from one of my grandmothers and crocheted afghans from my other grandmother. I love to draw and do needlework so when my children were little and I was staying home with them I decided to design my own patterns and greeting cards. I have a web site that shows all of my patterns and links to other items I make with my illustrations. www.countrygardenstitchery.com
