Hand Embroidery

Skill Level:

small skill level requirement Beginner

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • basic embroidery stitches including stem stitch, back stitch, lazy daisy and French knots

Pattern Description:

A hand embroidery pattern featuring a trio of decorated Easter eggs sitting among the wildflowers in the spring garden with dragonflies buzzing by. Colors of buttery yellow, soft peach and pink and spring green.

This hand embroidery pattern measures 5" x 10" and is easily transferred to fabric using any of the handy methods available in craft and sewing stores, a light box or a window. The pattern uses very simple embroidery stitches including stem stitch, back stitch and french knots. You can choose your own colorway to match a project you have in mind or your home decor. It would look great in redwork too! The floss colors used in the model are noted on the pattern. A fun and quick pattern that can be easily finished with quilting, sewing or framing. I finished the model into a table runner for spring.

This includes a photo page, pattern, stitching instructions and supply suggestions.

Thank you!
