Derived from the Greek alphabet, the Cyrillic alphabet is used by the Slavic peoples of Eastern Europe, including Bulgarian, Ukranian, Russian and others.

Our folkloric design lends a storybook flair to many projects: label tea towels, clothing and more! The included Russian Folk Doll will be an adorable gift tag, tree ornament, or clothing motif! Pattern includes chart for alphabet sampler and folk doll!

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Sampler: app 8 x 14-inches, Doll: app 5 1/2 x 3 1/2-inches

Materials:

  • Stranded cotton floss in the DMC colors listed; for the Sampler: 14-count white Aida cloth (15x18-inch piece); for Doll: 14-count white plastic canvas (7x5-inch piece)

You Will Also Need:

  • Cross stitch needle, scissors, For Doll: tiny yellow rick-rack, craft glue
