I was walking my kids home from preschool and was struck by a large tree that had been chopped at about 6 feet high. Small branches were growing from the top of the tree, as if to rebel against the decapitation.
Life continues despite hardship.
I made this pattern after sketching the tree - see original sketch in picture.
The pdf pattern is one page and contains stitch and color suggestions. Please don't reproduce the pattern for others, but feel free to sell any finished handmade items that use this embroidery pattern. Of course, if someone asks where you got the design, it'd be nice if you told them I made it. :)

I'm a stay at home mother of three young children on the autism spectrum. One of my twin girls was born with a hypoplastic right heart. Life is always busy.
