This pattern was inspired by the rug that was beside my grannys' bed. She was the one who first taught me to sew. I have many fond memories of sitting on the rug and watching her make a quilt or mend cloths. After she taught me to sew I could not get enough. I had to learn and try any and all arts and crafts that came my way.
The colors were a favorite for my granny and the design is pure southwest where I was born and raised.
Please enjoy this pattern as much as I enjoyed making it.
My grandmother first taught me how to sew at the age of 4. That was the beginning by the time I was 6 I was making quilt tops from my own patterns. I then started learning every craft I could find.
I now design cross stitch, jewelry and other crafts and teach crafts to young and old.
The next step in my progress will be to try and open a craft supply store in my hometown.
