Pattern Description:

A fun bird pillow made with a variety of colorful yarns and trimmed with feathery looking eyelash yarn. He can be used to accent a bed, any room, and can also sit on a shelf. He doesn't need a cage, and is guaranteed not to fly away. A cute conversation piece, and lovable for any age group from babies to seniors. He is also willing to be a playful friend and a soft cushy sleeping companion.

14 inches long with a size H hook; make smaller with a smaller hook and omit tail for a pincushion size or small pillow.

Uses stash yarn and flirtatious eyelash yarn .

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • about 16 inches from beak to tail


  • 9-10 various colors of yarn (scraps)
  • 75 yards (approx). worsted weight for main color
  • scraps of eyelash yarn

You Will Also Need:

  • size H Hook
  • fiberfill stuffing

Suggested yarn:

150 yards of Worsted weight
