Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Single Crochet
  • Foundation Single Crochet
  • Slip Stitch
  • Increase
  • Decrease


8 rows and 8 stitches in one inch.


  • 1.5mm steel crochet hook
  • 90 yards #10 crochet thread
  • 5 yards #3 perl cotton
  • craft glue
  • 1 50 gram Altoid's tin

You Will Also Need:

  • tapestry needle

Suggested yarn:

90 yards of Lace weight

Preferred Brand/Yarn:

DMC Baroque


Black is traditional for tans, but hard on the eyes, so I used white. Just use a solid colored thread, it would be hard to do the puzzle if the pieces were varigated.
