Pattern Description:

St. Patrick's Day is such a fun holiday and I'm here tro help you celebrate with a super fun pencil topper! This makes a great toy for kids/adults who like something to play with in their hands while working. Works up quickly for fun results! Enjoy!


You'll need approximately 25 yards each of Paton's black 100% wool and Cascade chartreuse 100% wool. Gauge is not very important. Just change hook size to make sure the stitches are tight.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • hat is approximately 2" tall


  • size F/4.0mm crochet hook

You Will Also Need:

  • tapestry needle
  • stitch marker
  • pencil
  • gold embroidery thread
  • small amount of fiber fill for stuffing the hat

Suggested yarn:

25 yards of Worsted weight
