Robert Rabbit

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Magic rings, single crochet, increasing and decreasing

Pattern Description:

Robert is your typical rabbit; he would do just about anything for a carrot!

I had some grey yarn left over from a cardigan I had been knitting on and off for over 10 years (I'm not really a knitter!). Grey yarn - grey rabbit; it's as simple as that.

This tutorial gives full instructions and images to make your own Robert Rabbit. Only basic skills are required including forming magic rings, single crochet, increasing and decreasing. My Robert measures 16cm tall (including his ears) when finished but size will vary depending on the yarns you use. Please note that instructions to make the carrot are not included in the pattern; I just thought it would be nice for the photographs.

Please do NOT sell, redistribute, alter or publish the pattern. You may NOT sell finished products made with this pattern.

I used Rowan Felted Tweed DK in a grey shade for Robert. His jumper is made from Rico Essentials Cotton in col. 51. The gauge will depend on the yarns you use.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 16cm (including his ears)

  • Yarns, a crochet hook, hand sew needle and beads
