Pattern Description:
This octopus was my first amigurumi design, and one of my favorites! I love his curley tentacles and googley eyes. His tentacles will hang differently depending on which side you make the “right side.” It works up in about 2 to 4 hours and stands 8-9 inches tall.
Materials:
- Size US G6/4.00 MM crochet hook
- 1 ball of Lily Sugar ’n Cream Yarn
- 18mm safety eyes
- Stuffing
- Yarn needle

Cute, but not for sale... May 8, 2013

DO NOT BUY THIS PATTERN IF YOU WANT TO SELL THE FINISHED PRODUCT. The pattern owner does not like/allow sales of this finished product. I know that sucks, and I should have figured that out before I bought it myself, but I was really looking forward to having something quick and simple in my sales inventory.
It's a super cute pattern, and would be a great gift for children of all ages.

What's a lilliput you ask? Well the first I heard of the word was in an art history class, it was the name of a small art magazine. I thought it sounded pretty so I googled it and found that lilliput is also the name of the country of very small people in Gulliver's Travels. Being an abnormally small person myself, I thought it was a good fit.
I plan to go to school for fiber arts to take this passion to a new level. I think it's important to keep growing creatively, as long as it remains fun. I'm really looking forward to learning to spin, dye, weave, etc. One day I'll be able to make my family tartan!
