Basic Skills Necessary:

  • basic crochet using single crochet

Pattern Description:

This is my first original pattern based on the memory of my son's first teddy bear 23 yrs ago. Wanted to keep it in a vintage look.
Simple design and basic instructions.
The secret is in embellishment.
I keep the price at this amount because I know you will love making this sweet bear and it makes a great keepsake.
Can make it in any type of yarn from DK (Small) to bulky (Large)
and the results are awesome. Photos show in medium worsted weight and bulky boucle.


not necessary but do keep stitches tight so as to prevent filling from showing.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • approximately 9-10 inches


  • medium worsted weight yarn
  • E hook
  • Polyfill (prefer Supreme for softer feel)
  • 12mm safety eyes or embroidery thread

  • ribbon, felted buttons
