Hello! I'm an avid crocheter in my early twenties. I learned to crochet in the summer of 2010 after attending a local craft fair, and I fell instantly in love with the art of amigurumi. I jumped quickly into designing my own patterns, and I haven't looked back since!
My current obsession is sea creatures. I find marine invertebrates particularly fascinating, and draw much of my inspiration from them. My favorites are cuttlefish and nudibranchs (sea slugs)!
When I'm not crocheting, I like to write, read, hike, and ski.
Make yourself a cuddly nautilus amigurumi! Swim or snuggle - it's up to you.
This is a pattern for a nautilus amigurumi. When worked in worsted-weight yarn, the finished stuffed animal is approximately 4 inches tall, 2.5 inches wide, and 6.5 inches long, although sizes will of course vary with yarn and stitching. The eyes can be created with safety eyes, buttons, or embroidery. The instructions given are for a natural-colored nautilus with four brown stripes on its shell, but if desired, more stripes can be added, or they can be forgone completely in favor of more exciting colors. Fully customizable! Makes an ideal present for both boys and girls.
You may not reproduce or resell this pattern.
Have fun crocheting your new amigurumi nautilus!
