Create these cute hats and a scarf for your favorite 18" doll! This pattern is easy and a perfect project for scrap yarn!
This pattern features instructions for my best-selling original Darling Doll Hat pattern and scarf and has been expanded to included additional instructions for a fun earflap hat!
What makes my patterns different?
1. I teach a lot of crochet classes and use that experience to write my patterns. This helps me write patterns that my customers can easily understand.
2. My patterns have instructions for embellishments and techniques that can be used on additional projects.
3. Each pattern has lots of pictures and notes about why I designed the pattern this way.
4. I'm alway happy to help and answer questions about my patterns.

I love to make things…a lot of things! Rarely will you find me without a crochet hook or knitting needles in hand working on a project. And I love to sew and scrapbook, too! My husband and daughter tease me about my crafty obsession. But they are pretty happy, too, when they score something handmade.
I learned my crafting skills at an early age. I come from a crafty family and learned a lot from my mother and grandmother who taught me to crochet and craft. My 4-H leaders filled in the gaps, teaching me how to knit and sew. Then I studied Fashion Design and Home Economics at Kansas State University. Now, I have the privilege of passing these skills down to my daughter.
I have to admit, it wasn’t easy for me to learn. I struggled with reading patterns and following instructions, so I designed most of my own projects. But over time, I finally learned how to follow a pattern and began writing my own patterns. I always like to share this experience with others who are learning to show them that with practice and perseverance, they can learn, too.
