Pattern Description:

Create your own jungle (or desert or Hawaiian luau or tropical paradise) complete with monkey's swinging through palm trees eating bananas!

Perfect for a baby's room or theme'd party!

That's right. This pattern includes instructions to make an 8 foot tree, a monkey with hands that can really grip and a delicious banana to eat.

Tail or no tail? Smooth belly or hairy? Black, orange or brown?

No matter. This pattern includes all sorts of variations for creating your favorite furry little monkey.

The hands and feet really grip because there are fuzzy sticks crocheted inside. (Edges can be sharp, so don't include fuzzy sticks in toys made for babies or small children).

The arms and legs have elbow and knee joints making these furry creatures even more fun to play with.

Make a bunch cause these delicous crocheted fruits are easy and quick to make. THey make the perfect accessory to every monkey.

At 8 foot tall, your friends are sure to be impressed with your crochet skills.

It's the details that make this so realistic. The crocodile stitches at the top of the tree resemble cut palm branches. The loop stitch grass looks like grass. Even the trunk has fun details created with various size stitches.

The palm tree is very mobile....perfect for decorating a party or baby room. The base is a Christmas tree stand and the trunk is a 3" drainage pipe. These and other materials can be found at your local hardware store.

As always, this pattern comes full of helpful info including lots of photos, materials list, gauge info, checkboxes to mark your progress and more.

The pattern is for your eyes only. We encourage you to give away or sell your finished handiwork as long as credit is given to yarnovations.com.

We trust this will really set the scene!
