Basic Skills Necessary:

  • single crochet, single crochet decrease, half double crochet, chain stitch, slip stitch

Pattern Description:

Four different sized Hoot Owls all in one money saving combo pack!
Included in this set is Hootster Papa Hoot Owl, Hootle Mama Hoot Owl, Hootner Junior Hoot Owl and Hootie Pee Wee Hoot Owl.

I chose woodland colors for my set of owls but you can go as wild or mild as you wish!

Gauge:

There is no gauge given however the tighter your stitches, the less stuffing will show through. If you can see air between your stitches, use a smaller hook.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 7", 6", 5" & 4" tall when made with worsted weight yarn

Materials:

  • yarn amounts given for largest owl.
  • 2 oz yarn - body, head
  • 1/2 oz yarn - wings
  • 2/3 oz yarn - beak, feet
  • 1/4 oz yarn - eye accent
  • small amount for eyes and pupils

You Will Also Need:

  • polyfill/fluff
  • row counter
  • Size G hook
  • stitch/row markers
