Basic Skills Necessary:
- I use the Magic Circle because you can pull the center of your work tightly closed. There are a lot of great videos on how to make a Magic Circle on YouTube, if you still are unable to make this just make the: Ch 2. Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in first chain. Place marker in first stitch for beginning of round; move marker up as each rnd is completed in place of the Magic Circle. ABBREVIATIONS / REFERENCES St(s) = stitch (es) Sc = single crochet Ch = chain Sc2tog = single crochet 2 together Rnd = round Rep = repeat
Pattern Description:
This pattern will instruct you on how to crochet this Cute Squishy Hippo. It would make a great gift for any Baby or Child. Hippo is a little over 9 inches tall and is a little over 7 inches from arm to arm. My 11 year old put Hippo in her lap then covered Hippo's ears, She whispered,"He's a little chunky but don't let him know I said that." His waist is a little over 15 inches around.

- Crochet Hook Size G-6, 9mm Black Safety Eyes, 1 Skein "I Love This Yarn" Grey, Cluster Fluff-fiber fill, 1 Blunt Needle , Stitch Markers
