Pattern Description:

Remember those silly drawings that you probably did when you were a kid? You put your hand down on a piece of paper, draw around your hand and then you make it in to a turkey? That's what I did here.

Have your young one pick out the colors from your stash - even from your scrap bin since this is a scrap friendly project - and go wild with them! I stayed in more subtle colors but you can go to town with the colors! I've seen a lot of pictures of Hand Turkey Trios that others have made and they are just fun! If you have a picture that you or your young one has made, you can even try to duplicate it!

Most of all - have fun making your Hand Turkey Trio. I did!

There is no gauge given however the tighter your stitches, the less stuffing will show through. If you can see air between your stitches, use a smaller hook.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 6", 9" & 11" tall when made with worsted weight yarn


  • No more than 1/2 oz for each color
