Skill Level:

little skill level requirement Novice

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • How to read a crochet pattern

Pattern Description:

I love how puppets can bring people out in different ways. Kids will interact sometime with a puppet when they are too shy to speak with an adult. These are extra fun since you can make different eyes and because they are just a ring, you can use your hands in lots of different ways! They are way too fun! Every kid I've shown them too starts laughing, puts them on and starts laughing again as they look at their hand turn into a puppet!

Isn't super important to this pattern. This pattern calls for a combo of US G6/4.5mm and I9/5.5mm hooks; If 4.5 is a loose weave for you then I'd move down to 3.5mm and 4.5mm instead just to keep the fiber fill from poking out!

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Sizing notes included for child or adult ring

  • 1" square of white and black felt
  • tapestry needle
  • thread, needle for sewing on your felt eyes
  • small amount of fiber fill (or extra yarn!)

Suggested yarn:

50 yards of Worsted weight

Preferred Brand/Yarn:

Vanna's Choice or Red Heart Super Saver

fun bright colors!
