Pattern Description:

I was in an Oriental mood and wanted to design a doll for a book submission - but could not resist the design streak I was on so I went for it with these 4 dolls! They have interchangeable sleeves, hair and accessories.

There is no gauge given however the tighter your stitches, the less stuffing will show through. If you can see air between your stitches, use a smaller hook.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 5-7" tall depending on height of doll when made with worsted weight


  • 1/2 oz yarn - head, hands
  • 3/4 oz yarn - hair
  • 1 1/4 oz yarn - dress
  • small amounts of yarn for accents and shoes

You Will Also Need:

  • Size G hook
  • fluff/polyfill
  • row counter
  • stitch/row markers
  • 9mm safety eyes - or they can be embroidered
