Basic Skills Necessary:

sls = slip stitch
sc = single crochet
magic ring/circle
invisible decrease (Invisible decrease should only be done when the right side is facing. Insert hook under front loop of first stitch. Insert hook under front loop of second stitch. Yarn over, pull through two loops on hook, yarn over and pull though last two loops on hook.)
reverse slip stitch (without turning work, sls from left to right.)

Originally designed for my son who is obessed with Garden Gnomes. Easy no sew pattern worked in a continuous spiral of single crochet. Good use of leftover scrap yarn-even uses on old sock!
